Buckley's Wisdom

Sixty years ago this month, conservative icon William F. Buckley Jr. published "God and Man at Yale," an opening salvo against the narrow-mindedness of liberal academia.  As a writer, Buckley was gifted; as a proponent of conservative principles, he was genius.

Today, Buckley's insight regarding the electoral process rings truer than ever: "Support the most conservative candidate who is electable."

While the Republican presidential primary race is still dynamic, the field of electable, conservative candidates seems to be narrowing by the day.

On January 21, 2012, Mitt Romney will be the last man standing in South Carolina.  Mark that day on the calendar, folks.
